Memento’s senior management team includes seasoned software industry and financial services veterans, all focused on meeting the complex challenges of fighting fraud and managing compliance.

BC Krishna, Founder and CEO

BC is a technologist and entrepreneur skilled at turning innovative software solutions into industry-leading companies. He founded Memento in 2003 after identifying the high-value business opportunity to help enterprises systematically address the long-known issue of internal fraud and inappropriate activities by insiders. In 1995, BC founded FutureTense — the company that helped define the Content Management software category — and was part of the management team that led it to nearly $100 million in revenue. Following the acquisition of FutureTense by publicly traded Open Market, he served as Open Market’s Chief Technology Officer, as well as a Board Member. From 1987 to 1995, BC was a Principal Software Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation.

BC holds an M.S. in Visual Studies from the MIT Media Lab, and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India. He speaks at leading industry events and conferences, and is an avid reader, runner, and squash player.

Mike Braatz, Vice President of Marketing

Mike comes to Memento with extensive marketing, product strategy and entrepreneurial experience. He leads the marketing team and is responsible for developing and articulating the value of our solutions, as well as demand generation and market visibility activities.

Prior to Memento, Mike was Vice President of Marketing at Bluesocket. He was also Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at PanGo, where he built strategic partnerships and directed all product and corporate marketing efforts. His first entrepreneurial experience was as Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development at Optiant, responsible for launching the company’s supply chain planning and optimization solutions and managing strategic alliances. Before Optiant, Mike was a consultant at Bain & Company working with clients in the enterprise software, financial services and manufacturing industries. He started his career as an Officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he attained the rank of Captain and was decorated for outstanding leadership and performance.

Mike earned a BA in mathematics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.

James Glover, Vice President of Sales

James leads and manages our sales organization, as well as critical relationships with our Fortune 1000 financial services clients. He drives account strategy and management, and influences our strategic direction and solution offering. James also participates actively in our customer community and forums.

Prior to Memento, James served as Vice President of North American Sales at Watchfire, a leading provider of enterprise security solutions, where he built strong relationships with leading financial and technology clients. He also helped launch Watchfire’s business in Europe and Japan. James holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.

Greg Leibon, Chief Mathematician

Greg is a mathematician with more than a decade of experience in researching probability, geometry, and pattern recognition. His primary responsibility at Memento is the design and development of new and advanced analytical techniques to detect fraud and non-compliance more effectively.

Before joining Memento, Greg was a mathematician at Dartmouth College, where he held the prestigious John Wesley Young Instructorship. He has also served as an industry consultant working in a variety of fields, including financial market analysis, image processing, and genetics. Greg is an avid gardener and enjoys studying complex systems, ranging from those in his backyard to the global financial network.

Maria Loughlin, Vice President of Engineering

As VP of Engineering Maria manages the definition, development, delivery, and support of Memento’s products. Maria and the engineering team apply best-in-class software methodologies, including test driven development and lightweight agile practices, to ensure that high-value features are consistently delivered to Memento’s customers with high quality.

Maria is an accomplished technology executive who has transformed concepts into best-in-class products in data management, employee management, and multimedia fields for 15+ years. Prior to joining Memento, Maria managed the development of multiple products in Kronos’ Workforce Management suite. Maria was an early employee of FutureTense and a leading contributor to Open Market’s flagship web content management interface, rated No.1 by Forrester Research. Early in her career, Maria researched biomedical image visualization technologies at Digital’s Cambridge Research Lab.

Maria holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Brown University.

Jeremy Majchrzak, Vice President of Client Services

Jeremy leads our Client Services organization and is responsible for all service delivery activities — including proof of concept execution, implementation, managed services, training, and technical support. He drives our delivery methodology, solution architecture best practices, and project management standards to ensure client success.

Before joining Memento, Jeremy was Vice President, Technology Services at CA, where he led the North American Infrastructure Management team of consultants and architects. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. When Jeremy is not working or spending time with his family, he enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and keeping an eye on the real estate market.

Gail Riep, Director of Finance and Administration

Gail brings more than 15 years of corporate financial expertise at Fortune 500 and high-technology start-ups to her role. Previously, she served as Director of Finance and Administration at WebDialogs, a leading webconferencing company purchased by IBM in 2007, where she was responsible for all financial, administrative, and human resource activities. She also held critical financial management positions at FutureTense, Light Solutions, Oxford Lasers, and SOPRA. Gail began her career at Texaco as an auditor and manager. She holds a BA from Franklin and Marshall College and an MBA from Babson College.

Joe Walsh, Chief Software Architect

Joe is a software architect with more than 20 years of high-level application design and development experience. He is responsible for the design and development of all aspects of Memento Security, and directs the technical architecture of the company’s software products. Before joining Memento, Joe held key technological leadership roles at FatWire Software, Open Market, FutureTense, and Atex. He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Paul Whitelam, Vice President of Product Management

Paul manages Memento’s product strategy and roadmap, working with a team of subject matter experts and technologists to deliver leading fraud monitoring, detection and investigation capabilities. He brings more than 15 years of experience in financial services and enterprise software to the position.

Before joining Memento, Paul held several positions in Product Management and Marketing at Endeca Technologies where, over his seven-year tenure, he led the market strategy, product definition and development of Endeca’s leading enterprise search technology. Prior to Endeca, Paul was Director of Engagement Management for Zentropy Partners’ Boston office, collaborating with leading financial services organizations on a range of internet initiatives.

Paul started his career in product management roles at Midland Bank / HSBC and also worked as a Management Consultant for National Westminster Bank / Royal Bank of Scotland.

Paul holds a B.A. (Hons) in Management Studies and French from the University of Reading, UK, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Mike Williams, Vice President of Business Development

Mike leads key aspects of Memento and focuses on business development, creating and nurturing key industry partnerships and channel relationships. He works closely with fraud management teams at leading global banks, helping them apply the powerful capabilities of Memento Security to mitigate risk and reduce loss.

An active participant in critical industry groups, Mike chairs the Internal Fraud Briefing Paper working group for the Santa Fe Group Vendor Council. He has spoken at events hosted by the Bankers Administration Institute, Corporate Security Best Practices, BITS Fraud Reduction Steering Committee, BITS Advisory Council, and other influential organizations.

Prior to Memento, Mike served as Director of Solution Marketing and Business Development for Trilogy Software, consulted for Booz Allen & Hamilton, and managed new product development at Motorola. Early in his career, Mike worked in White Collar Crime at the FBI, served on The White House Presidential Advance staff, and was posted to the Economic Section of the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece.

Mike holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He enjoys golf and competes in triathlons.
